The Race Course in Chennai is over 200 years old being one of the oldest club in India. The Chennai Races are an integral part of Chennai's cultural history. In addition, at this course, the finest thoroughbreds from the best centers have raced for the most coveted prizes in the sport, including The Classic Indian Turf Invitation Cup. Today, live telecast of races from all over the country can be viewed at the Chennai Race Club, through a new venture introduced this January.
